Regina Daniels, a famous Nollywood actress, has expressed her congratulations to her mother Rita Daniels following her recent appointment in the Delta State Governor’s Office.
Rita Daniels, who holds a law degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, has been a consistent advocate for women’s rights for many years. Prior to her appointment, she served as the leader of the Delta Ndigbo Women’s Wing.
According to a statement from the governor’s office, “Delta State Governor, Rt Hon. sheriff oborevwori, has appointed Chief Mrs. Rita Daniels Chukwuji as his Senior Special Adviser (SSA) for Women Empowerment and Mobilization.”
The statement reads, “Rita Daniels, a technocrat, is expected to bring her many years of experience in providing effective service in the governor’s office.”
Regina Daniels said her mother’s appointment as the senior special assistant to Delta State’s Governor on women mobilization is a “well-deserved recognition” for her hard work and dedication over the years.
The actress wrote on her Instagram page that she believes this is just the start of bigger things for her mother. @ritadaniels06: “Congrats Nnem Oma,” she wrote. “Your hard work and dedication will continue to pay off for years to come. Welcome my queen, I hope this is the start of more great things to come.”
