Nigerian singer Banky W has broken the silence on his election loss, stating that he planned to get an apartment in Abuja.
In a video shared via his Instagram handle, the musician stated that he also planned that the Sunday after the election would be a thanksgiving if he had won.
He said:
“This was to be our Thanksgiving service. After the election is over and we come and we are celebrating, thanking God. And I was going to give a short charge to say see what the Lord has done.
“And then we use that to build up your faith and give God some praise. Then we finish the service, and I go to Abuja to start looking for apartment and office space.”

The singer encouraged anyone who’s ever suffered through a loss or a disappointment to exercise faith after a fall still.
He said faith in God helps people heal when things don’t turn out the way they planned.
Meanwhile, Nigerian broadcaster and socialite Daddy Freeze has alleged that Banky W lost the Lagos State Eti-Osa Federal Constituency election because the poll was rigged.
Speaking during a live Instagram session, Daddy Freeze claimed that the poll was manipulated in favour of Attah Thaddeus of the Labour Party (LP).
He said Attah is not known by anyone, nor was his face on fliers like other candidates.
The broadcaster further argued that since the election was rigged in favour of the Labour Party’s candidate, Peter Obi‘s supporters too should also accept defeat at the presidential level.
