As a leading supplier of real-time transportation visibility solutions, Shippeo has established a strategic agreement with Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (Yamaha Japan) and Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA (Yamaha USA).
The partnership was confirmed by Isamu “Sam” Kuru of Yamaha Motor Company Japan’s logistics Division.
Domiciled in the industry in real-time multimodal transportation visibility, Shippeo, claims it assists large shippers and logistics service providers in running more robust, sustainable, and customer-focused supply chains.
The France-based company recently raised $40M in funding from Battery Ventures, Partech, NGP Capital, ETF Partners, Bpifrance Digital Venture and SAP.io, LFX Venture Partners, and Yamaha Motor Ventures.
Yamaha Motor, a massive two-wheeler manufacturer, also recently revised the popular MT-15 V2, Fascino, and Ray ZR models.
Through Shippeo, Yamaha will have better visibility and predictive analytics over its whole global supply chain, including over-the-road, railway, and maritime transportation.
