Seven states controlled by the Peoples Democratic Party have withdrawn their suit against president-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The aggrieved states had challenged the victory of the All Progressives Congress flagbearer in the presidential elections.

Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Taraba and Sokoto states in a new twist have withdrawn from suing Tinubu’s win.
Lawyer of the PDP Mr. Mike Ozekhome SAN made the statement on behalf oh his clients.
He said: “Take notice that the plaintiffs do hereby wholly discontinue this suit against the defendant herein.”
