The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have suspended voting in 141 polling units in Bayelsa state.
According to the commission’s chairman Mahmmod Yakubu said the election body made the decision due to the disruption in the voting process.

Yakubu addressed the media at the collation center in abuja, on the presidential election day on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Also in Kogi state seven polling units of Kogi East Senatorial district has been cancelled including Anyigba, Dekina and other five in Omala council area in the state.
It is understood that thugs reportedly disrupted the polling units, firing shots into the air and causing panic, resulting in an abrupt end to the voting process at Unit 01 of the Abejukoko ward in Omala LGA.
