The Abia State House of Assembly has achieved a significant milestone by passing a bill to revoke the Abia State Governors’ and Deputy Governors’ Pensions Law No. 4 of 2001.
The legislation, tagged H.A.B 11, seeks to address concerns surrounding the pension entitlements of former and deputy governors in the state.
A statement from the Assembly read:
