Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has taken to social media to express his satisfaction with the Supreme Court’s decisions favouring the governors of Bauchi, Plateau, Akwa Ibom, and Zamfara states.
The former vice president described the victories of the state chief executives as a triumph for constitutional democracy.
Atiku also congratulated Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) on his legal victory.
Emphasizing the significance of unified opposition, Atiku pledged his commitment to leading the endeavour and collaborating with opposition leaders and governors for the betterment of Nigeria.
He called on the victorious governors to leverage their victories to enhance good governance in their domains further.
”With the election phase now behind us, I am confident that the PDP will concentrate on its critical role as the principal opposition party in Nigeria, guided by its capable governors and myself,” he added.
