The most recent Grok-1.5 chatbot from Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup, xAI, will be accessible on his social media platform X starting next week, the billionaire announced in a post on X on Friday.
He said that Grok 2 should outperform existing AI in every way.
According to a statement released by xAI on Thursday, early testers and current Grok users on X will have access to Grok-1.5, the improved version of the chatbot.
Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of X, has announced that Grok, the social networking platform’s AI chatbot, will be available to all Premium users this week.
The company’s mid-tier subscription, X Premium, costs $8 a month (online) or $84 annually. Grok was previously exclusively available to Premium+ members, costing $16 a month or $168 annually.
This action comes after Musk declared earlier this month that xAI will make its Grok big language model publicly available.
But the millionaire remained silent about when Grok would be accessible to all X users.
To the joy of Platform X users, Musk also recently made huge announcements stating that accounts with 2,500 verified subscribers would now be able to unlock premium features for free, and those with 5,000 or more will be able to access Premium+, which will allow them to rise even higher.
The tweet read, “Going forward, all X accounts with over 2500 verified subscriber followers will get Premium features for free and accounts with over 5000 will get Premium+ for free.”
News.ng had earlier reported that Elon Musk has been asked to pay a record $6 billion in legal fees, which would be paid in the company’s shares.
