Governor Hope Uzodimma has expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming support he received in the recently concluded election in Imo state.
The governor acknowledged the trust placed in him to lead the state for another term and pledged to deliver on the promises made during the campaign.
He extended a hand of unity to contenders from other parties, emphasising the need for a collective effort to build and uplift the state.
Governor Uzodimma assured the people that his administration will transcend political differences for the benefit of all citizens.
“I am humbled and honoured by your overwhelming support in yesterday’s election. Together, we have achieved a resounding victory, and I am committed to delivering on the promises made during our campaign,” Governor Uzodimma said.
He expressed gratitude to every member of his team, his political party, and all citizens of Imo for their unwavering support, recognising that the state’s progress is a result of their collective efforts.
Governor Uzodimma commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its officials for ensuring a fair and neutral electoral process. He also appreciated the security agencies’ dedication to maintaining peace during the exercise.
He also expressed his commitment to leading Imo state to greater heights, assuring the people that their shared future is bright.
