Popular Nigerian singer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy has disclosed that he survived prostate cancer.
The activist disclosed in a post via Twitter that he has been battling the ailment for over ten days.

He said surviving prostate cancer is the greatest favour God has done for him.
Charly Boy wrote:
“Gosh, I have fought one too many battles in my short life. Most of the times, I win. Prostate Cancer cannot cripple love, it cannot shatter hope, it cannot conquer dis spirit. Abegi make una help me Thank God for giving me yet another chance.”
The Tweet was accompanied in a video showing his treatment in the hospital. The singer said he is grateful that he survived the illness which has killed many people.
In another news, Charly Boy has expressed joy after encountering Afrobeats singer, Davido in Lagos.
In a post via his Instagram page, the musician disclosed that he was star-struck when he met Davido.
He described Davido as one of his favourite artists and one of Nigeria’s pride.
