The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi has maintained that he would never intentionally break the law.
The former governor of Anambra state governor made a post on his Twitter handle that his commitment to taking back the country from forces he alleged were making the people poorer.

Obi also promised to bring out the people out of poverty and that his alleged stolen mandate would be taken back.
His words: “Sometimes, as humans, we make mistakes, but I will never knowingly break any law. I am, therefore, not afraid of the lies and propaganda against my person. They are part of the journey to a New Nigeria.”
Obi was recently arrested in the United Kingdom by immigration officials alleging a case of impersonation. The full details of the saga are yet to be unravelled.
