The Pro-Chancellor of the Kaduna State University Mallam Hussain Dikkoko has announced that the university is aimed at achieving a standard tertiary e-Learning platform within Nigeria.
The Pro-Chancellor made the statement during the installation of the new e-learning centre at the Kaduna State University [KASU].
Dikkoko said that the commencement of activities in the new e-learning centre was vital in enhancing learning and teaching in the varsity, the centre will assist both students as well as their lecturers in carrying out academic activities.
The P-VC added that the centre will boost the quality of education in the university and also step up the institution’s local and international academic rankings.
He guaranteed that he would ensure the facility remains updated and one of the best in Nigeria.
He further urged lecturers and students to utilize the facility effectively and provide vital suggestions to make it better.
The Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Abdullahi Musa said that the facility was part of the school’s agenda to boost the effectiveness and efficiency of learning and research.
The VC added that the e-learning platform will make studies accessible to students no matter the time, create strategic assessments and improve students’ participation with their lecturers.
