Udengs Eradiri, the LP governorship candidate in Bayelsa state, has declared that with the growing grassroots support for his campaign, he will make money politics a thing of the past in the upcoming November 11 elections.
Eradiri made this declaration during a campaign tour in Nembe, Ogbia and Opu Nembe local government areas, where he met with stakeholders and supporters. He declared that he was in a race to save Bayelsa and to develop all communities, claiming that the state was suffering from poor leadership and a clueless government.
Eradiri said that the state is the second poorest in the country and has the highest number of school dropouts, and that is why he is travelling to all the communities in the state to sell his manifestoes.
Eradiri declared that he would eliminate the traditional ways of doing things and that he would not take credit for the development of roads, infrastructure, or other social amenities that are usually reserved for the people.
He added that if the people of Bayelsa were not told the truth, they would be left behind. He also said that he had a better solution to the people’s problems than anyone else, and urged them to make a decision that would not be regretted.
Eradiri also declared that he would create jobs for the young people in Otakeme, and lamented that several businesses owned by the state were dead.
