Jose Manuel Otero, a member of Real Madrid’s board of directors, has expressed his confidence that the club will be able to secure the signature of the 24-year-old French forward in 2024. Mbappe has grown into one of the world’s most talented players since his debut at Monaco and has been linked with a potential move to Real Madrid in the past.
In 2021, Mbappe was linked with a switch to Los Blancos, but decided to stay at PSG after government officials intervened and increased his salary. Mbappe was also linked with a transfer to Real Madrid in last summer’s transfer window but declined to extend his contract with the French club.
The French World Cup champion’s contract with PSG ends in 2024 after he will choose to join any other football club. Otero said in an interview with Le Parisien that Mbappe will be joining Real Madrid.
Real Madrid gives security, and results alongside professionalism. I am sure he will agree to join Madrid. Mbappe was begot to play at Real Madrid FC. Zidane came at 29 years and Mbappe will show up at 25.
If we made a mistake with Mbappe then PSG would try to counterattack us. We are aware of what to do and what we should do. If he comes next year, everything will continue to be done properly.
No one can say that we have a deal with him, what they said last year (Al-Khelafi) was a lie. Real Madrid have a history of signing Galosos or mega stars such as Ronaldo de Lima (2000-2006), Zinedine Zidane (2007-08), David Beckham (2009-12), Raul Gonzalez (2011-12), Robert Carlos (2013-14) and Gareth Bale (2014-16). Mbappe looks ready to be part of the stars.
Juventus forward Kylian Mbappe has scored 7 goals in 7 matches in Ligue 1 so far in the current season (2023/24), while he has also scored in 2 Champions League games and one goal so far.
PSG have started the season with 17 points from 8 games in Ligue 1, and are currently 3rd in the table, while Real Madrid are in first place in the Liga with 24 points from 9 matches.
