Due to Victor Osimhen’s apparent departure from the former Serie A winners in the summer, Napoli is contemplating a move for Terem Moffi as a possible replacement.
To replace the former Lille striker, who will undoubtedly depart Napoli next summer, the Italian powerhouses might bring in Moffi, who has had a successful season for Ligue 1 club, OGC Nice.
Il Mattino claims, via Tutto Napoli, that Moffi is being evaluated as a potential replacement for his compatriot. The 24-year-old was a member of the Super Eagles team that placed second at the African Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.

The value of Moffi, who has scored no fewer than 11 goals and provided two assists in 26 league games for Nice this season, is reported to be around €30 million.
This comes after reports suggested French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have decided to pay the €120 million release clause inserted in the Nigerian’s current contract with Napoli.
The Nigerian may be heading to France, according to a report by Il Mattino, as the Italian media outlet stated that the French powerhouses were prepared to fulfil the Nigerian’s release clause.
“Victor Osimhen is close to signing for PSG this summer! The French club has decided to pay his release clause of €120 million,” the publication wrote in a recent report.
