Social media influencer Daniel Regha has criticised the 2023 presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.

Regha, known for his commentaries and observations on most issues, stated that Obi and Atiku are not different from the incumbent Nigeran leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While describing Obi as feeble and sloppy, Regha stated that Atiku is not principled.

His comment comes on a day both the LP and PDP presidential candidates made progress in the election petition tribunal.

Regha wrote:

”Peter Obi is corny, while Atiku isn’t trustworthy judging by their past actions, so there’s no guarantee that any of them will do a good job if they ever get to rule Nigeria.

”The LP, PDP, and the All Progressives Congress are literally the same. Nigerians need someone who will always put the people first.”

Atiku and Obi contested for presidency in 2019 under a joint ticket on the platform of the PDP.

They were defeated by former President Muhammadu Buhari and his deputy, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

In 2023, they ran on different platforms, with both men maintaining mutual respect between them.

They are now in court challenging the declaration of Tinubu by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Both men have also, at different times, expressed optimism that they will win in court.

Atiku was the first runner up in the election results declared by INEC, while Obi came third.
