Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria’s President-elect has directed that special prayers and thanksgiving service should be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, on his 71st birthday.
The former governor usually holds a colloquium yearly to mark his birthday celebration but this year’s event will be different.
Tinubu wants his birthday to be dedicated to prayers and seeking God’s guidance since it falls within the holy month of Ramadan.
Special prayers will be held in Lagos at the Central Mosque in each of the five divisions in the state and other parts of the country.
However, Tinubu will be hoping to have a favourable judgement at the election tribunal as he looks to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29, 2023.
