Nigerian singer Rema has dismissed reports circulating in the media regarding a clash between him and Davido.
In a chat with Ebro on HOT 97FM, a US-based radio station, Rema said the rumour was the handiwork of fans.
In 2020, the Mavin Records signee was rumoured to have had a rift with Davido after he went on a Twitter spree
However, Rema speaking on the matter said he has never had any altercation with any artiste.
“That was a rumour. From day one, I never had any problem with any artiste. I would say I have so much respect even for the OGs. I look for no one’s trouble. I just want to make good music,” he said.

The singer faulted musicians who do not curb the excesses of their fans. He said he often pleads with his fans not to promote comparison and animosity with other musicians.
In another news, Rema has disclosed that he abandoned his admission at the University of Lagos due to the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ 8-month strike (ASUU).
He made the statement during an interview on Kiss FM radio. The musician said he had quit school and moved on.
Rema disclosed that he planned to do part-time schooling and music, but the strike ruined his plans.
Despite her early opposition, he said his mother now supports his choice to concentrate on music.
