Nigerians on the street have expressed their happiness as one of their own, Burna Boy, made history as the first African artiste to sell out the 80, 000-capacity London Stadium.
The London Stadium has 60,000 seats when operating in football mode and is 80,000 capacity for concerts.
Burn Boy was also presented with a plaque for the record-breaking feat.
Following this historic feat, Nigerians who rushed to congratulate him on social media described him as a national treasure.
According to them, achieving the ability to attain global stardom is not child’s play.
Meanwhile, some social critics are not happy with the presence of his mother at every function he attends.
They urged her to use the opportunity to stay home and take care of her husband.
However, some fans have dismissed the criticism against her mother. They argued that seeing the pair together is always a thing of beauty to behold.
Going further, they added that only a mother could love a child unconditionally as Burna Boy’s mother loves him.

The singer was closely followed by Wizkid with 8.39 billion streams. The list was recently released by Top Chart Africa.
