Nigerian Army troops have neutralized a wanted bandit, Nicknamed Mai–Nasara who is very notorious and believed to have been operating in the Sangeko forest in Kebbi.
According to a press release issued on Monday by Colonel Idris, the team also took out two other suspected members believed to be part of the bandit group. “Mai-Nasara has been neutralized,” the statement from Colonel Idris read.
The Director of Security at the Civil Service of the Government of Kebbi state, Abdul Rahman Usman commended the security agencies for their efforts in combating crime and crime-related issues, particularly in the Northern part of the country, and urged people to give them cooperate and support they need to succeed.
He said that the security agencies need the public’s support and cooperation to flush out criminals and restore peace and order in the country. Therefore, he urged people to provide credible intelligence to the security agencies to ensure successful battles.
