“Yoruba Lagosians the most accommodating in Nigeria” – Ren Omokri

Reno Omokri has reacted to a debate on social media on whether Lagos state belongs to the Yorubas or it is a ‘no man’s land’. 

The former aide to the ex-President Goodluck Jonathan gave his opinion that the Yorubas’ are the most accommodating people in Nigeria.

Omokri made the statement on his personal Twitter handle on Thursday, March 9, as he said: “The most accommodating people in Nigeria are the Yoruba. The most accommodating place in Nigeria is Lagos.” 

He added that the South Westerners’ tolerance level is far better than any other tribe or ethnic group across the country.

Omokri added: “What Lagosians accept will not be accepted anywhere else. And for this, the Yoruba deserve kudos not knocks! We all should be like them.”
