Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu recorded outstanding wins in some South-West states including Ondo, Ekiti, Oyo and Kwara states respectively.
Some of the results which trickled showed that the APC presidential candidate secured a total of 201,494 votes followed by the PDP with 89,554 while LP and ANPP had 11,397 and 264 respectively.
In Oyo state, the former Lagos state governor won 12 local governments as announced by INEC.

According to The Punch, the results are as follows: Ibadan North West: APC 13078, PDP 6011, LP 4820 Kajola; APC 11917, PDP 9358, LP 503.
Afijio: APC 8876, PDP 4112, LP 1925; Itesiwaju; APC 6180, PDP 4948, LP 387.
Saki East: APC 6414, PDP 3634, LP: 1144 Ibarapa Central; APC 10291, PDP 5169, LP 726.
Tinubu also won seven out of 16 local government areas in Kwara where results have been officially declared by the INEC.
The seven LGAs claimed by APC flagbearer are Asa, Isin, Offa, Oke- Ero, Ilorin East, Ekiti, and Irepodun.
The votes won by Tinubu in these areas are as follows: Asa LGA – 15, 123, Isin LGA – 4,484, Offa LGA – 19, 475, Oke-Ero LGA – 6, 016, Ilorin East LGA – 24,264, Ekiti LGA – 5, 739 Irepodun, LGA – 11, 545.
