The Abia state governor has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CSS Integrated Farms, for the transfer of knowledge in large-scale farming.
The farm located around Abuja-Keffi Road, Gora, is owned by John Opara, a former Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Mr Otti who disclosed this via his X account on Thursday, commended Mr Opara’s vision in large-scale agricultural production.
The Abia state governor signing an MoU with the organisation will facilitate the transfer of knowledge, and best practices in large-scale mechanized farming in his state.
He further stated that the partnership would empower local farmers in his state.
Mr Otti also said he has directed his state Agriculture Ministry to expedite the collaboration.

“Yesterday, I visited CSS Farms in Nasarawa State, owned by Professor John Opara, former Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board.
“I commended his vision and emphasized the potential partnership with the Abia State Government. Signing an MoU will facilitate the transfer of knowledge, and best practices in large-scale mechanized farming thus empowering our local farmers. I have directed our Agriculture Ministry to expedite this collaboration.
