Ike Onyema of Big Brother Naija revealed that he and his ex-partner, Mercy Eke, are better friends than lovers. He stated that he did not try to reunite with his ex-fiancée during the All-Stars edition of the show, as it is known that reuniting exes often does not turn out well.
Last week Friday, he was featured on Cool FM during Nigeria’s Big Friday Show, by another renowned TV star, Tacha.
Ike revealed that he did not restart his relationship with Mercy during the recently concluded BBNaija’s All-Stars season because he realized he was better off as her friend.
He said, “I always think that when people go back to their exes, they don’t always get what they want. At least for me, they don’t.”
Ike and Mercy were in a romantic relationship during the ‘Pepper Dem’ BBNaija season of 2019, but their romance ended immediately after the show.
