Dr Naomi Morka, the daughter of All Progressives Congress (APC) National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Felix Morka, has made her father proud.

She graduated on Friday, July 7, from the Medical School at the University College London (UCL) with a B.Sc (Hons).

Aides of Barrister Morka shared photos of the APC spokesman attending his daughter’s graduation ceremony on the ruling party’s Whatsapp platform.

Dr Morka, who chaired the UCL women in surgery committee while in school, bagged a First Class in Surgical Sciences, MBBS.

Her focus was on research, healthcare administration and global health.

While in the school, she co-authored 11 publications, including one focused on Prostate cancer and the human papillomavirus, causative association, the role of vaccines, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in June 2021.

Writing about her experience at UCL in her LinkdeIn bio, Dr Morka stated:

”Over the years, I also had the opportunity of contributing to and also authoring multiple research papers spanning the fields of oncology, medical imaging and surgery.”

UCL has educated doctors since 1834, and the medical school sits in the heart of London. Working closely with several major teaching hospitals, it prides itself on providing world-class medical education to its students.

The Medical School is ranked 6th worldwide in the QS World University Rankings by Subject (2023).
