Nigerians have dug up an old interview of comedian, Basketmouth and his wife Elsie, saying they would not consider divorce in their marriage.
In the video taken before they split, Basketmouth said he and his wife had a good marriage and were never going to divorce.

He said:
“There is no good marriage that ends up in divorce, so we have a good marriage, so there is nothing; it’s impossible.”
Elsie concurred by saying she likes her husband too much to divorce him. Basketmouth also stated that the first five years of their marriage were better than other marriages he has seen.
The clip, which emerged after Basketmouth announced the end of his 12-year marriage, has generated huge reactions from Nigerians on social media.
