Popular Nollywood producer and director Natty Bruce Idigbogu passed away on Monday at the age of 57.
Natty Bruce is well-known for his numerous martial arts success in Nollywood productions. He has overseen and managed martial arts for several award-winning Nollywood films.
On his official Facebook page, cinema journalist and African cinema Academy Awards jury member Shaibu Husseini revealed the filmmaker’s death.
He wrote: “I have just been reliably informed that light has dimmed on foremost Nollywood’s ‘martial arts’ actor Natty Bruce.
“The green belter was passionate about integrating Martial Arts in Nollywood movies. He also tried to produce a full-length Martial Art movie. Good night Oga Natty. Bye Bye, Sir.”
