Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Governor of Kwara, has expressed delight over the recent triumph of the state’s team at the 2023 Presidential School Debate competition in Abuja.
The victory marks the second occasion where the state has emerged victorious in this national contest, having previously achieved the same feat in 2021.
Governor Abdulrazaq attributed the resounding success to the state’s substantial investment in basic education. He highlighted that the victory is a testament to the significant impact of the government’s dedication to enhancing the quality of education in Kwara state.
He commended the young scholars for their exceptional brilliance and hard work, expressing pride in their achievements.
Additionally, the Governor congratulated the teachers and authorities of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB), notably led by Prof. Shehu Raheem Adaramaja, for their pivotal role in nurturing the students and facilitating their success.
The Governor reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to fostering quality and effective basic education. He emphasized the motivation to further invest in human capital development and revive confidence in the public school system.
