The coach of the Nigerian U-17 national team, Manu Garba, has invited no fewer than 51 players to the camp of the Golden Eaglets ahead of the WAFU B tournament.
In a chat with Totori News, Garba said that the team’s training camp would commence this Wednesday in preparation for the forthcoming WAFU tournament, which is scheduled to take place in Accra, Ghana, from May 15 to May 29.
He stated that he believes in majority of the players he has scouted on his own and has thus mandated them to have their MRI scan before they come to camp.

“I have just submitted the list of 51 players that will open camp hopefully on Wednesday (today),” Garba told Totori News.
“I have scouted most of those players, and some lists were given to me by some stakeholders. But I believe that for the majority of the players I have scouted on my own, I have mandated that they have their MRI scan before they come to camp.
He said that most of the Golden Eaglets players he is about to assemble will grow not only to the U-20 team and the Super Eagles but they will also do well individually in life.
