The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, paid injured Super Eagles and Nantes FC winger Moses Simon a visit to France last weekend.
Recall that the hardworking player is currently recovering from an injury he sustained during an international friendly clash against Mali in the city of Marrakech, Morocco.
Simon was stretchered off the pitch following his collision with Mali goalie Mamadou Sammassa during the keenly contested friendly match between Nigeria and Mali.

The deadly winger, who has earned no fewer than 72 caps while playing for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, was immediately taken to the hospital after colliding with the goalkeeper.
Simon, who will not play for the rest of the campaign, according to a statement made later by his French team, Nantes, later underwent successful surgery to correct a fractured leg he sustained during the friendly match against Mali.
Gusau visited Simon in Nantes France, as part of his endeavours to inquire about the well-being of injured players of the national team. He took the chance to publicize the visit on his social media page, and the player expressed gratitude for the action.
“A visit to Moses Simon today in Nantes, France, to see how he is recovering from his injury.” Gusau wrote, and Simon, responding, said, “Thanks for coming, presidio.”
