The Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Delivery and Monitoring Youth Initiatives, Titilope Gbadamosi, today, visited the Nigerian Commodity Exchange (NCX) headquarters in Abuja.
In a post on X, the presidential aide said she was at the NCX headquarters to discuss fostering collaborations and harnessing the agency’s untapped potential to empower Nigerian youth.
She added that the discussions centred on utilizing the agency’s resources to facilitate youth skill development and translate innovative ideas into productive ventures.
Recognizing NCX’s pivotal role in bolstering food security across Nigeria and Africa, she noted that the agency remains steadfast in elevating farming outputs, curbing post-harvest losses, and enhancing farmers’ income.

”During my visit to the Nigerian Commodity Exchange (NCX) headquarters in Abuja yesterday, conversations on exploring collaboration avenues and tapping into the agency’s untapped potential for empowering Nigerian youth naturally took centre discourse.
”In my discussions with Mr Anthony Atuche CFA, the Managing Director of NCX, the focus was on leveraging the agency’s resources to provide a platform for youth skill development and the transformation of innovative ideas into productive ventures.
”The NCX, as a vital government unit, plays a crucial role in enhancing food security across Nigeria and the African continent.
”Committed to increasing farming outputs, reducing post-harvest losses, and raising farmers’ income, NCX aims to mitigate the adverse effects of middlemen and commodity hoarders, ensuring fair returns along the agricultural value chain, which actively involves young people.”
