Nigerian singer, Simi, narrates ordeal at immigration office over indecent dressing

Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, has narrated how she was almost bounced from entering an immigration office in Lagos. 

Simi said she went to the office to get her passport done.

The mother of one confessed that she nearly didn’t get to go to the passport office because an officer thought her clothing was too short.

But, she claimed that she was fortunate because she had a contact in the office who was able to make some arrangements to get her access.

She was nonetheless told to take off her nose and ear jewellery and to borrow a shawl to conceal her shoulders.

Known for her sensational voice, Simi hardly gets into any controversies.

She is now set to release her new single called, ‘Stranger.

The Nigerian sensation hinted to fans about the single while announcing a snippet of what to expect via her Instagram page.

She recently made it known that she disapproves of her two-year-old daughter, Adejare.

Her daughter dances similarly to her husband, Adekunle Gold, and that was her justification.
I’m so mad my daughter dances like her daddy, the “Duduke” crooner wrote.

Simi whose full name is Simisola Ogunleye was born in Ojuelegba, Surulere, Lagos State, as the last of four children. 

Her parents separated when she was 9 years old.

She attended Stars International College, in Ikorodu, Lagos State

After this, she proceeded to study mass communication at Covenant University. 

She wrote her first song at age 10. 

Simi got married to Adekunle Gold on the 9th of January 2019.
