Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has countered the statement made by Ayu Iyorchia that a member among the G5 governors paid him a courtesy visit.
The national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) made the statement during the party’s campaign rally in Makurdi, Benue state capital.
Wike stated that the claims were false adding that none of the aggrieved G5 governors are interested in settling with Ayu until their demands have been met, Channels TV.

Ayu made the impression that the crisis rocking the party is gradually being settled as he claimed that Abia state Governor Okezie Ikpeazu is already in talks with him.
However, Wike who is leading the aggrieved G5 governors said that nobody can blackmail them to drop their political advocacy until they win.
The incumbent governor also made it clear that none of the G5 individuals can be suspended or expelled by the party they built.
Wike and co have insisted that the PDP’s presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and the national chairman can not come from the same geographical zone as they demand Ayu’s resignation with immediate effect.
