Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, seems to have bounced back from the grief of losing his son.
The singer withdrew from social life after his three-year-old son, Ifeanyi, drowned in a pool at his residence in the Lekki area of Lagos state.
After weeks of mourning, Davido appears to have healed from the tragedy. He was recently seen in a video saying his back.
Tell the world I am back; let’s go,” the singer said in the clip, which has gone viral.
The Davido was said to have made the statement shortly before his performance at the World Cup closing ceremony.
In another news, popular Nigerian rapper MI Abaga has praised fans of Afro-hip singer Davido for organising a concert on his behalf.
MI, in a tweet, said the fans, popularly known as 30BG, showed pure expression of love for Davido by organising the show.
The rapper stated:
“The @davido fans event is one of the most pure expressions of love I have seen. For a truly deserving and kind soul! I pray David feels all the love and light he has created in the world in this moment. Love and light.”
