Kola Ologbodiyan, a former national publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has suggested President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is overwhelmed with leading Nigeria.
Ologbodiyan, an accomplished journalist and former media aide to 2-time Senate President David Bonaventure Mark, made the suggestion in a social media post.
His comment comes when the president faced increasing criticisms from Nigerians as the economy is tumultuous.
Ologbodiyan, one of the spokespersons for the PDP presidential campaign in the 2023 elections, further suggested that Tinubu has nothing to offer.
His words:
”They told Nigerians he would hit the ground running, but the man has been floating in an ocean of errors.
”It appears he came into Abuja with an empty file. Unprepared! Nigeria can not be governed via a trial-and-error methodology.”
Ologbodiyan was most likely reacting to some media reports suggesting Tinubu is considering reverting to petrol subsidy to give Nigerians some reprieve after prices of goods and services escalated in the last few weeks due to the policy.
But one of the presidential media aides quickly dismissed the reports, noting that there were no such plans in the offing by the presidency.
