Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon AKA Khaid, recently opened up about why he changed his religion from Islamic to Christian.
He was born to a Muslim dad and a Christian mom and went to mosque as a kid. He said he changed his religion because he didn’t like going to the mosque, and his dad made him go when he was young.
He told Zero Conditions podcast that he converted because his dad was Muslim and his mom was Christian, so he felt more connected to Christianity.
My parents were open-minded and allowed me and my siblings to follow any religion we chose. However, my father was a strict parent and didn’t want me to feel out of control, so he made me go to mosque.
At the time, I wanted to please him, so I went to the mosque. After a while, I changed my religion and now go to church. My older and younger siblings are all Muslims, while I and the other five are all Christians.
