Wizkid’s family has released the details of his late mother’s funeral arrangements, two months after her passing.
According to a circulating online flyer, the wake will take place on Thursday, October 12, 2023, with the funeral service taking place the following day, Friday, October 13.

Alhaji M. O. Balogun, her husband, is the sole surviving member of the Balogun family, with four children: Yetunde, Omolara, Olubusaya and Ayodeji. The Balogun family also leaves behind grandchildren.

Wizkid’s manager Sunday Aare had confirmed the news of his mother’s passing, saying she passed away after a brief illness.
