Oyinkansola Alabi, a psychologist, has shared her thoughts on the recent comments made by Seyi Awolowo concerning his female housemates in the ongoing reality show Big Brother Naija All-Stars.
Seyi, grandson of a Nigerian nationalist and statesman, Obafemi Awolowo has been in the news for the wrong reasons recently.
The upcoming Nollywood actor has been filmed saying degrading things about women severally.
His comments attracted condemnation from the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency.
Alabi, popularly called The Emotions Doctor, also expressed concerns that Seyi is evangelising his beliefs to other men in the Big Brother Naija House.
Her words:
”I have listened to Seyi Awolowo multiple times on #BBNaijaAllStars, and it’s obvious he doesn’t like women.
”He sees them as lesser humans, objects, and tools of labour. He is also evangelising his beliefs to other men.
”I hope these men will protect their sons and daughters by telling him the truth.”
She also stated that Seyi had uttered enough misogynistic statements to be disqualified from the reality show.
Some viewers have also called on the show’s organisers to disqualify Seyi.
