Governor Sanwo-Olu expresses gratitude following Supreme Court’s affirmation of his election

In response to the Supreme Court’s affirmation of his election as Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu took to social media to express his gratitude and appreciation. 

The governor stated that the affirmation of the apex court is a revalidation of the trust and confidence the people of Lagos have placed in him.

Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized the inclusive nature of his government, inviting those who may still be undecided to join the progressive governance train. 

He reiterated that his administration does not claim a monopoly of ideas and called for collaboration in building a Lagos that thrives, progresses, and uplifts every resident.

His words: Like I always say, there are no victors and no vanquished. I invite those still on the fence to join our train of progressive governance. We run an inclusive government and do not claim a monopoly of ideas. 

”Dr Obafemi Hamzat and I are privileged to have been elected to serve at this auspicious moment in the history of our state. 

”Let’s continue working together to build a Lagos that thrives, progresses, and uplifts every resident. 

”The journey continues, and our commitment remains steadfast,” the governor said.
