Lethal Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has reacted after he was named in the first X1 (11) of the Bundesliga 2023/24 shortlist for the outgoing season.
The all-action striker, who moved from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise last July to Bayer Leverkusen for a fee worth $25 million, made the list of nominees in a statement on the Bundesliga website.
All of the nominated players were chosen based on their performance in official Bundesliga statistics, according to a statement on the official website of the German top division.

“He scores goals, Boniface!” the club wrote on their social media account.
Reposting the message from his club, Boniface said, “Not bad for my first season.”
With five games still to play, Leverkusen secured their first-ever Bundesliga title, and the deadly striker has produced 11 goals and 9 assists in 18 league games while going undefeated.
