Former Super Eagles midfielder Sunday Ugochukwu Oliseh has declared that lethal Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface can lead Nigeria to AFCON glory very soon.
Oliseh made the comments on his official X handle (formerly Twitter) while congratulating the striker and his teammates after winning their first Bundesliga title.
According to him, he is convinced that Boniface can lead Nigeria to AFCON glory in the future because he is strong, skilled, intelligent, mobile, and calm under pressure.
“Victor Boniface was once again extraordinary as Leverkusen grabbed its first-ever Bundesliga title with 5 games left to play.

“Boniface is strong, skilled, intelligent, mobile, and calm under pressure and I am convinced he will lead Nigeria to AFCON glory & more soon. Congrats.” Oliseh wrote.
Recall that Bayer Leverkusen defeated Werder Bremen 5-0 to win their first-ever Bundesliga title, with Boniface scoring and providing an assist in the game.
The Nigerian international striker has made 18 league appearances for Leverkusen this season, scoring 11 goals and dishing out eight assists across all competitions.
